The rooms are well updated, clean, quiet, spacious and cozy. Special shout-out to Yordi at the front desk for her attentiveness and incredibly friendly service. She genuinely elevated our experience at this wonderful hotel.
Do Not Use The Valet! As a property that prides itself on providing a high-end experience, you will be disappointed. We had two issues with valet on two separate stays (in the same week).
1.) The gentleman who delivered our car must have hit the trunk release button and opened the trunk without us knowing. We did not put anything in the trunk before we left so we didn't think to check it before pulling out. We were on the interstate before we realized it was hanging wide open and our Christmas presents were falling out. I called the hotel and they said "they can't accept liability" and the valet "can't prove it was their fault".
2.) This one was even more problematic... we received a call at 9:40AM ET explaining that our car was broken into overnight (7 hours AFTER it happened!). We valeted the car hoping to have it stored in a secure area with cameras because it was full of luggage and presents we were returning home. The incident was discovered at 2:30AM ET in their garage. 5 vehicles were broken into that night. Our car was left unattended for 2.5 hours when a homeless man was discovered sleeping in one of the cars at 5AM ET. Police decided that "taking his information" and "letting him go" would suffice as proper procedure. We were told by the hotel that they could not accept liability because the valet was contracted and didn't work for the hotel. The valet explained that they can't accept liability because they "rent the parking spaces from another valet company". My wife and I were left cleaning out our car, inventorying what was taken, filing a police report, and figuring out how to get our window fixed in a city that we do not live in. With very little help from the hotel management. Our car sat for over 7 hours before we were aware that the front window was smashed and our stuff was taken. The video cameras "were out of service" that night so nothing was captured. Something I think the hotel could alert you of when going to park.
Not the experience you would expect from a hotel that markets itself as an experience and charges $45/night to park your vehicle. We will NEVER stay here again.
The room was cute. They have a stargazing ceiling feature thingy (the name of it slips my mind atm) that you can project on to the ceiling. The hotel is really nice, they have a nice bar/restaurant area. It’s right next to the theater if you like to go to shows. It’s about a mile waking distance to the restaurant/bar district. Would recommend this place and stay there again.
Adored this hotel! Stayed with a friend and it was the perfect location. Safe. Loved the service. The room was clean and cute. They were so so kind to me. I left early for my flight and it got delayed. They let me come back and stay until checkout time and get some more sleep. So grateful.
we have had better higher class hotel-stays at other large chain hotels, than we did here. $383/night the room was bare.biggest issue was the HVAC. AC did not work. our room remained at 75°. these are first world problem but for the cost, we expect a comfortable stay. They sent an employee to our room to tell use the cooling coils are shut off for winter so no rooms have ac. and they’d bring us a fan if they can find one. They did bring a fan. cleanliness was 3/5.
Well well well. I come for my birthday as a reset. I booked a king room but my tv was broken so thanks to Greg in maintenance, I was able to get a new room but it was 2 queen beds. He made sure I was taken care of no issues! Then I waited about 40 minutes for valet due to a shift change I guess and the front desk asked was I a guest. Why else? Smh but Antonio came on shift and was very prompt so kudos for those two! I was given a drink coupon BUT the bartender was rude and said “well it doesn’t cover the cost of your drinks” and I said “ok I can pay the difference” as if I were broke. If I can pay for a room I can pay for a drink or a difference and that was the only conversation he had with me the whole night and yes me and my guest are melanated people. So overall my birthday experience here was not the best. I am born and raised here, I look forward to this stay every year and this year I can say I am truly disappointed! I don’t know if I will return next year. Some things need to really be fixed with the rooms and customer service. But Greg in maintenance and Antonio and valet really went over and beyond and THEY deserve recognition.
This place might be the best hotel I ever stayed in and I have been in a lot of hotels. The decor was super classy, the service was on point, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was a step above.
Extra points for the following-
1) Loaning me a charger for free when I forgot mine.
2) Setting us up with rose pedals and a bottle fo champagne for our anniversary.
3) Delicious breakfast
4) Starbucks on site
Superb. 5/5 would recommend.
Bed was hard & linens lumpy. Prepaid for a king room, was "upgraded" to Jr. Suite with double bed and eye level view parking garage & roof mechanicals. Had to keep drapes shut. Thanks, but no thanks for the room upgrade. Room could have been cleaner, needed dusting and vacuuming.
